Here are a couple projects of mine. The pictures are I took on our vacation that I thought were so pretty that I needed to frame them and hang them up in our bedroom. Our room is the only one with blue in it so I thought they'd work in there. Aren't they pretty! And finally, we have the unveiling of the curtains I sewed. I think they turned out really nice. They go perfectly in our livingroom and Nathan and I love them. I think the easiest part was sewing them. The hardest was picking out the fabric. I think I made a good choice though. I still need Nathan to take down the awful blinds we have hanging up in both the rooms. He's been really busy lately though and I feel like the time he gets to spend at home should be spent relaxing. Oh, we also finally got our bed in. I'll have to take pics of our bedroom and office after I get it all done. I decided to make our bedroom into an actual grownups bedroom. So, I packed away all of my bears and super girly stuff. Surprisingly I didn't have as hard a time with it as I thought I would. I want to make curtains for our bedroom now. I think I've found a fabric I like but I want to wait till it goes on sale. I'm really excited about painting Alex's room. I think that when we get back from our trip we'll have to go out and pick out a color. We leave for Florida on Wednesday morning. I can't wait! It's coming up so fast. I just hope that I don't miss Alex too much.
Okay this is the best makeup tip I've ever gotten! Are you ready? Yesterday, I was watching Tyra and her friend Jay Manuel was on. He does makeup and about everything else to do with fashion. Well, he was giving tips to different girls on how to get the celebrity look they want. He was working on this one girl. He was giving her Lucy Lu cheek bones where he was using a bronzer around the temples and cheek bones. Tyra said that Jay runs the bronzer up around her hairline to diminish her big forehead. And, I think everyone knows that I have always had a giant forehead and have always worn bangs because of it. Well, recently I've gotten a little braver and decided to try and grow them out. I was like man this tip is like meant just for me. So, I don't have any bronzer so today I had to run out to Sally's anyway so I picked some up. I just tried this trick and it totally works. You have no idea how excited this makes me. Now, I feel like I can grow my bangs out with a little more confidence. So, if any of you have a giant forehead like mine you should totally try this. You just take the bronzer on a brush and brush it up from your temples all along your hairline on your forehead and you can use it as blush also.

Okay, so these are pics of a new project of mine. I think it turned out pretty good. Nathan had gotten me these flowers about a month and a half ago. I loved them and didn't really want to throw them away. So, I pressed them in my giant bible dictionary. Then, I glued them to a piece of cardstock and put them in a picture frame that was half off at Hobby Lobby. Love that place. I got the matting, backing, and glass there too. It was a fun project. Originally I was going to hang it in our bedroom, but Nathan thought it was too cool. He thought we should hang it in our livingroom. That excites me that someone else thinks it's cool enough to display and for everybody to see too. I've been working on my curtains now. I've had a few creative holdbacks. But, now I just need to get some more fabric to finish what I'm planning on doing. I'll have to share those too when I'm done.
